Daniel Roth / Bulgari Petite Seconde- Full Set

A fine and impressive solid 18k pink gold Bulgari/Daniel Roth men's wristwatch with three-armed seconds hand, model Petite Seconde, ref DR 206. This model was one of the first that was developed after Bulgari bought the Roth company in 2000. It breaths the signature of the master watchmaker Daniel Roth all over and is fully handmade by the master himself.

Sold in the original complete set including the Bulgari double boxes, warranty booklet (May 2011), Bulgari booklet "DR 206 Caiber Petite Seconde", maintenance booklet and authenticity card.

THE CASE:
Polished solid 18k pink gold case in typical Daniel Roth double-ellipse design measures 41mm x 43mm, without the crown. This alone makes this watch am impressive timepiece. Wait untill you see the movement!  The case-middle and back are carved from a single block of material and meticulously polished, while the lugs are hand-soldered to the middle, thus preserving the purity of the ridges and projecting angles.
The case-back signed with the makers name of Daniel Roth and Bulgari. Also reference-number and hallmarks for 18k gold.

THE DIAL:
Handmade dial with upper section in ivory-white and lower sectorn in grey. Signed with Bulgari and Daniel Roth cal 206. Markers in solid gold, just like the hands. The three-armed secondshand indicating the seconds on three different scales. (0-20sec, 20-40sec and 40-60sec). The longest arm of this three armed hand dissapears into a slot in the rehault. A detailed piece of high level design, that shows the quality of this watch. 

THE MOVEMENT: 
Daniel Roth signed movement cal DR 206, based on and developed from the ultra-thin Frédéric Piguet pocketwatch movement. This fully handmade movement breaths quality all-over. The bridges are decorated with Côtes de Genève, with concave chamfering and 2N gilt engraving on the barrel-bridge, while the mainplate is circular-grained.
The hand-chamfered screws feature countersunk polished and bevelled slots, while the surfaces are satin-brushed. These few examples provide a fascinating insight into the spirit and dedication to detail of the craftsmen who are determined to ensure that a movement is perfect from all angles.This 20 jewel movement is adjusted to 5 positions.
